Medical Laboratory Sciences is an allied healthcare profession programme which covers the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease through the use of clinical laboratory tests. This program equips the students with basic and advanced skills to practice as laboratory professionals in health administration and management. This course is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases through the use of Hematological, Immunological, Microscopically, and Bacteriological techniques. Medical laboratory technologists perform numerous tests that help other healthcare professionals, such as physicians to investigate, and treat the diseases.
Medical laboratory technology course involves laboratory organization, management of data and concluding the report. The students turn out ready for careers in the diagnostics labs, academics, research and may set up their own diagnostic labs.

It's an Under Graduate (UG) Programme of 3 years duration (6 semesters).
Eligibility Criteria
Those candidates who have passed the 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry as
compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council.
OR
Those candidates who have passed 10+2 with Vocational courses in MLS/MLD
