TREE PLANTATION DRIVE

 In a powerful gesture of environmental stewardship and tribute to motherhood, Ludhiana Group of Colleges, in collaboration with the National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activists (NIFAA), Punjab, organized an inspiring Tree Plantation Drive as part of the Prime Minister’s "PLANT FOR MOTHER CAMPAIGN" (Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam). Over 250 saplings were planted across the college campus, scenic roadsides, and Gureh Village, with the wholehearted support of Sardarni Balwinder Kaur, the Sarpanch of Gureh, whose leadership added a special touch to the event. The drive, which celebrates both mothers and Mother Earth, is part of a nationwide mission to plant 140 crore saplings by March 2025, as envisioned by the Ministry of Environment. With encouragement from the University Grants Commission (UGC), Ludhiana Group of Colleges is leading the way in this green revolution, nurturing a legacy of sustainability and care for future generations.
